Indicator # 1

S-P1.S2.13: All teachers use a variety of instructional modes (whole-class, teacher-directed groups, student-directed groups, independent work, computer-based, homework).

Indicator # 2

S-P1.S1.19 (LC): All teachers teach the key elements of literacy at each elementary school grade level during the literacy block (e.g., phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension).

Indicator # 3

S-P1.S2.15: The school implements a tiered instructional system that allows teachers to deliver evidence-based instruction aligned with the individual needs of students across all tiers.

Indicator # 4

S-P1.S1.23 (LC): The school provides additional time beyond the 90–120-minute block to provide intensive and individualized intervention for struggling readers within a multi-tiered system of support framework.

SIP

The School Improvement Plan Team (SIP) provided trainings to the faculty and staff to address the identified INDICATORS in the SIP.

The different trainings and speakers were: Mrs. Mary J. Smith- , Mrs. Penny Briney- "MTSS and Small Group Instruction", Ms. Astrid Hypolite and Ms. Michaelrose Ravalier- "Implementing MTSS".
